This review is from: Koldfront PAC1401W Ultracool 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, White (Misc.) I live in Arizona and needed something better than a Evap cooler for my garage. This unit works well even when the outside temp is 115 degrees. It will bring the inside garage temp down to 85 degrees in 700 sq feet of garage. This review is from: Koldfront PAC1401W Ultracool 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, White (Misc.) The Koldfront portable A/C is fantastic! Why waste money cooling an entire home if you are mainly using one room? We turn the main A/C on for the whole house about 30 minutes a day, and then it is off! We have one portable for the front living area and one for the bed room. We placed a sliding wood panel to go over the screen on the window outside over the hose opening in case of rain. We never have to worry about those horror stories of this one leaking water.
